East Anglian Beer & Cider Festival

Now in its 35th year, the East Anglian Beer and Cider Festival is organised by the local branch of the Campaign for Real Ale, the nationwide consumer organisation responsible for the preservation of our brewing and pub heritage.

From its early years staged in the Athenaeum and Corn Exchange, Bury St Edmunds the festival moved to The Apex at the Arc Shopping Centre in 2011. We’re honoured that we’re being trusted to offer the festival in St. Edmundsbury Cathedral and its precinct again, by kind permission of the Dean and Chapter!

Please note: the Cathedral Site is non-smoking. A clearly sign posted designated smoking area will be made available in the outside area.
